1. What we collect
When you use Siyoro, we may collect:
- Account details — your name and email address, if you sign in (including via Google Sign-In).
- Trip data — destinations, dates, preferences and itineraries you create or save.
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, and general device/browser information, to help us fix bugs and improve the product.
- Location (optional) — only if you choose to share it, to show nearby places on the map.
2. How we use it
We use your information to:
- Generate and save your travel plans.
- Keep you signed in on your device.
- Respond to support requests sent to us.
- Understand how Siyoro is used, so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Where it's stored
Your account and trip data are stored securely on our servers. Some information — like your sign-in session — is also kept in your browser's local storage so you don't have to sign in every time you open Siyoro.
4. Third-party services
Siyoro uses a small number of trusted third-party services to operate:
- Google Sign-In, for account authentication.
- Mapbox, to display maps and routes.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers, to run the website and app.
These providers only receive the information needed to perform their function, and are bound by their own privacy policies.
5. Cookies & local storage
We use browser local storage (not tracking cookies) to remember your sign-in state and preferences. You can clear this at any time through your browser settings — you'll simply need to sign in again.
6. Your choices
You can:
- Use most of Siyoro without creating an account.
- Ask us to delete your account and saved data at any time.
- Ask us what information we hold about you.
To do any of this, just email us — see below.
7. Children's privacy
Siyoro is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Siyoro evolves. If we make significant changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
